Kögel congratulates Hochstaffl on their 40th company anniversary

On the 7th of February 2013, Hochstaffl from Kundl in Tirol, Austria, Kögel's sole agency in six countries, celebrated their 40th anniversary in its Slovakian branch in Bratislava. A delegation from Kögel, led by Thomas Heckel, Managing Director at Kögel, took part in the festivities as official guests of honour.

Councillor of Commerce, Johann Hochstaffl started the Hochstaffl/Kögel success story in 1973 with the adoption of the sole agency for Kögel in Austria and forged the first links to neighbouring countries early in the 80s. These days, Michael Hochstaffl is continuing the commercial vehicle life's work of his father very successfully and represents Kögel in Austria, Romania, Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Serbia and the Republic of Slovakia.

Thomas Heckel declared in his speech that not only the 40th anniversary of Hochstaffl was a reason for celebration, but also the almost as old partnership with Kögel, characterised by its mutual trust and respect.

One of the highlights of the anniversary celebrations was the raffle of a new Kögel Cargo to the 300 or so guests. The lucky winner received the Kögel best-seller, which, in addition to its high-quality workmanship, impresses primarily as a result of its low maintenance costs and enormously flexible range of uses.

"After 40 years of brand loyalty we will naturally continue to trust the quality products from the house of Kögel, which we, and above all our customers, appreciate greatly", says Michael Hochstaffl, Managing Director at Hochstaffl. "In the Slovakian Republic we were able, with Kögel, to rise up to the market leader above the other two large European trailer manufacturers".
