The ‚e’ - series steps up for bauma – new types of machine from Wildeshausen

A wheel loader series with a supplement mention ‘e’ will be shown by Atlas Weyhausen GmbH at bauma. The question is - apart from very few exemptions – about innovated types of ma-chines offering the user a considerable up-grading in output with less fuel consumption. It goes without saying that the legal waste gas exigencies are met and this to an even much higher extent.

The new Deutz engine generation disposes of a totally different technology in regard of exhaust and injection system. Soot par-ticles and NOx can be reduced by means of the engine control that requires only a Deutz oxidation catalyst (DOC). This open system of the DOC does not necessitate a supplementary maintenance and is perfectly suitable for the usual intermittent running of wheel loaders. All together this new generation of engines is constructed more compact and smaller. Still the e-models can be exhibited with changes of the cab and a new bonnet in spite of the new technique within the engine room.

Furthermore, the wheel loader specialist will present a steering valve which has been developed in close cooperation with a longtime partner of Atlas Weyhausen. This allows the customer to choose whether the steering valve of his loader should be pre-controlled electronically or hydraulically. Load break securi-ties are available as a standard on the lowering and the tilting side.

Same applies for the cab type 31 which has been totally revised in the interior. The steering wheel can now be inclined by 40° and adjusted by 80 mm in height. All necessary command and functional devices have been retouched and placed ergonomi-cally, while the most important functions can be found in a new multifunctional arm rest. The inside covering appears in a fresh outlook and also the cooler box for drinks etc. shall contribute to the driver’s well feeling in his working place.

To summarize, all e-models can be seen with the new engines a remarkable increase of parameter efficiency, linked with a dis-tinct increase of possibilities for the user. Furthermore Atlas Weyhausen has gone on new roads as regards the hydraulic steering and the design. Last but not least the subject efficiency and reduction of fuel will be improved and followed continuously in the factory Wildeshausen.
