LiuGong to introduce next-generation skid steer at Bauma

Munich, Germany – April 15, 2013 – LiuGong has been changing the way skid-steers work. Now they’re changing the way they look. The company will introduce its new 375B radial-lift skid-steer at Bauma 2013. It’s a totally new design, from frame up. But the first thing people at the show will notice is the radical new curved cab.

Metal and glass on this new 865 kg capacity machine have been totally re-shaped – but with a focus on job-site purpose. LiuGong has always put an emphasis on operator visibility and control. And the curved corners on this machine provide a wider, less obstructed view of the worksite and a solid “corner to corner” view of the bucket, blade, fork or other attachment being used.

So whatever your point of view – looking at it or looking out – the new 375B delivers.

Better maneuverability and performance.

Better control starts with better weight distribution. And this new skid-steer gets it right with better balance, stability and lift control. The narrow stance and panoramic view combine for superior handling and control in tight quarters between buildings and walls and inside trailers. The machine lifts to a dump clearance height of 2,220 mm and with a lift speed of 4.1 seconds, dump at 2.4 seconds and float down of 2.2 seconds, the machine is quick all around. The 375B max rated load is 865 kg, in its standard 0.45 m3 bucket and it travels safely around the jobsite at 11.3 km/h.

Tougher structural components.

LiuGong machines are designed, built and tested for extreme-duty applications. The 375B is no exception. The new integrated frame provides a solid, rigid foundation for long, hard, productive days -- from  high-cycle construction and mining applications to farms, nurseries and shipping docks.  And the structural steel cab doesn’t just look better – it lasts longer.  Many thousands of hours of real-world testing went into the development of this new skid-steer, and the result is a skid steer loader that pleases customers, and lives up to the strict quality standards LiuGong mandates.

It’s all under control.

The machine features double-lever pilot control for sure, simple, effortless operation. The hydrostatic transmission system provide infinite speed control so operators can inch through critical areas with no extra space, but still travel quickly over large areas.   Spring applied,  hydraulic release brakes allows the operator to position the machine exactly where needed, and hold it there for pin point accuracy on precision jobs.. The loader has hydraulic self-leveling, useful especially for pallet fork applications.  The universal LiuGong quick-coupling system makes for fast, easy changes with the complete line of LiuGong attachments, plus the 375B can pick up existing attachments from any supplier that the customer may already own.

Spacious, productive operator station.

This machine starts with the operator – and stays there.  The cab is extra-large and uncluttered – with plenty of leg, elbow and headroom. Controls are intuitive and ergonomically placed for simple, effortless, fingertip control. The large, curved windows and well-placed mirrors eliminate much of the operator twisting and turning you find with other machines.  The 375B features a full suspension seat that is fully adjustable.

The ROPS certified structural cab design greatly reduces both vibration and sound level – for better operator comfort and superior communication between operator and other personnel around the worksite.

High-performance engine.

The Perkins 404D-22T engine has a solid reputation for power and durability and low fuel consumption and emissions. The engine is rated at 43 kW gross power and meets EU Stage IIIA tier 3 emission standards.

Plenty of options.

The 375B comes with a range of options to help customers meet their job requirement and performance needs.  The list includes high-flow hydraulics, heat and air conditioning, enclosed ROPS/FOPS Cab, solid tires and tire chains.

Technology. Taken to the extreme.

At LiuGong, it isn’t about just developing the latest technologies. It’s about developing the latest technologies that work – consistently, reliably, day in and day out, at the toughest, most extreme jobsites in construction and mining.

The company is totally dedicated to reliability – from engineering to testing to manufacturing. And the real test is always the real world where real jobs have to get done.
