The arrival of the Euro 6 trucks drew a dividing line between the past and the future of the products of aerial platforms manufacturers: new trucks with increased weights and different needs of construction.

Yesterday CTE presented the new aerial platforms set up on new Euro 6 trucks to the Italian sales force with demos on the first prototypes.

The effort required for the engineering departments of CTE was great: given the increased weights of the trucks, the designs of the arms of the platforms have been revised to meet the total weight, and have been introduced new materials and management-control systems.

The project has involved at the first time the CTE best sellers of CTE ZED range with articulated arm, and then will continue with the development of the CTE B-LIFT range with telescopic boom.

For the presentation of the first models, CTE has invited the members of the Italian sales force of which also belong the subsidiaries Elevateur, Tecnoalt, Sicel and Nord Est Elevatori.

More details on the new CTE products set up on Euro 6 will be disclosed in the coming weeks.
