Holland Lift nominated in two categories for the IAPA Awards 2016

The IAPAs are prestigious awards which celebrate best practice and excellence in the access industry. The organisation received more than 100 entries for 13 award categories. The winners will be announced at the Gala dinner to be held on 17 March at the NH Collection Madrid Eurobuilding in Madrid (Spain). 

Holland Lift has been shortlisted for the Technology Prize for its paralllel hybrid motor and for the Product of the Year for the HL-330 E14 4WDS/N.

The nomination Holland Lift received for the Product of the Year is for the HL-330 E14 4WDS/N. The HL-330 E14 is the highest scissor lift in the world, with a width of just 1.4 m (4.6 ft). The working height of the largest platform, measuring 8.4 x 1.2 m (27.6 x 3.9 ft), is 33 m (108 ft). This lift can be used both indoors and outdoors and is very well suited for warehouse construction. 

Holland Lift has been shortlisted for the IAPA Innovative Technology Prize for its ‘parallel hybrid motor for scissor lifts with working height between 16 and 22 m’. The parallel hybrid drive has a water-cooled diesel engine coupled to an electric motor, and they can either be used together or the electric motor can operate in stand-alone mode. The total power available in a parallel hybrid powertrain makes the Holland Lift hybrid technology second to none. This hybrid technology is used in the HL-190 H20, the HL-220 H25 and the prizewinning HL-275 H25.
