Road network managers find themselves facing the almost impossible balancing act of finding ways to maintain roads and guarantee acceptable safety levels with ever-decreasing resources, in a word, doing better with less. The payload of the Slurry Micro Surfacing machines has always been a serious safety issue with regard to axle load limits. The consequence of this is the obligation to return to the loading point from time to time, thereby restricting daily productivity to around 10,000 m2.
