ROCKWOOL Group calls for strong Energy Union

The ROCKWOOL Group together with other business leaders sends a strong message to Danish politicians ahead of EU summit: Denmark has the tools for a successful Energy Union.

Thursday and Friday this week the European Heads of States will be meeting in Brussels to discuss energy security, internal market and climate diplomacy as part of the Commission’s proposal for the Energy Union.

Together with other leading Danish companies our Division Managing Director Henrik Frank Nielsen is therefore calling on the Danish Government to work for having the new Energy Union built on the Danish model for energy policy – prioritizing energy efficiency and renewables energy first.

Reducing the huge energy waste in our existing buildings is a key tool to address the energy security problem as we in EU import 53% of our energy and 61% of all imported gas goes to buildings.
