The 500th as1 plant control system has been sold

Ammann’s as1 control system is currently in day-to-day operation in fifty countries, in twenty-five languages and on four continents. Ammann recently received the 500th order for an as1 control system. Just over 400 of these control systems produce asphalt, whilst the others are at work in the fields of concrete production and mineral processing.

A number of continuous mixing plants have meanwhile joined the many asphalt batch plants working successfully with as1. A control conversion kit available for continuous plants is already in successful use. A major difference to competitor products lies in the many versatile functional details that make the mixing engineer‘s daily work so much easier.

In addition to producing control systems as a central element of any production plant, Ammann also manufactures and markets an extensive range of additional software modules designed specifically for the production process. They include, for instance, the new load-out and weighing system for automated truck loading and weighing that even caters for self-service by the driver.

Modern quality mixing processes without the Ammann as1 plant control system are meanwhile unimaginable.
