Aleksandra Jastrzab: Mr. Müller, as a start-up company, what do you think about trade fairs - do you prefer to meet your customers in person or virtually?

Tobias Müller: Definitely in person, because you also have to get to know each other, and you can't do that on a digital appointment. Digital meetings are great for getting to know each other in the sales process, but we always say we want to get to know people in person before we launch. That means at some point in sales or even then during the launch or even during the use of our solutions. We always look for personal contact, go on site to simply know where and in what environment our solution is being used, because that's the only way we can constantly get better, communicate at eye level, and work together as partners.

AJ: How do you see the future of the construction industry?

TM: Of course, you can see that the construction industry is currently in a state of flux, but through us, our colleagues, we are helping the industry to develop further. And that's why our mission is to support the construction industry in becoming paperless and fully plannable. That's where we come in with our solutions, to support our customers, our partners, so to speak, and accompany them on this path.

AJ: What can the user upload, record and then track in your software?

TM: Actually, everything that applies to the construction site and back. We want to become the operating system for the construction site, where so far, the current solutions have not really been present - are a good extension to any ERP system, because we realized, everyone has to find their niche. Especially when we now say: "Where is the future of the construction industry going?", then these are primarily the logistics processes, i.e., how do I manage my resources, how do I plan them? That's where we started - we started out wanting to become this option for the construction site, but then realized, with our partners, that the simple questions can't even be answered yet. "Where is the new excavator right now?" - we answer these kinds of questions and are now expanding this with the new functions so that the suppliers are also integrated, so that the logistics processes are truly supported completely digitally.

AJ: What would you like to achieve at NordBau 2023?

TM: For us, it’s first and foremost a branding measure, but above all also to get into contact, no matter with whom. Be it now, today is student day, with the students, to simply see if we are attractive as an employer, but of course also with our customer group, with existing customers, with interested parties - and of course also with our colleagues at the stand. This way, when we also exchange ideas with each other, we can learn something and develop the industry further. I think that gives us all a huge added value, even if it's beautiful outside right now and we're standing in the exhibition hall.

AJ: Thank you very much for your time today and for the interview.

TM: Big thank you and everything is super organized. Thank you.
