On May 13 and 14, Haydock Park in Newton-Le-willows, Northern England, held a new edition of Vertikal Days, the most important event of the lifting industry in the United Kingdom and Ireland. As expected by the positive situation of construction in the UK, the fair received many visitors and brought together the main actors of the industry: manufacturers, hiring, and construction companies.

City Lifting, distributor of Linden Comansa and crane rental firm, exhibited at Vertikal Days an 11LC160 flat-top crane, a model with maximum load of 8 tons that turned out to be the only tower crane at the show. For the event, the crane was erected with a height under hook of 18 metres and a jib length of 30 metres, on a 4.5-metre-wide folding cross base. However, the 11LC160 has a maximum reach of up to 65 metres and could have a freestanding height of up to 47.9 metres on that same base.

The exhibited crane already has destination after the event. The 11LC160 has been immediately moved to Binfield , Southwest of London, where will be working for more than one year at a Shanly Homes project. The crane is already at the jobsite since May 20th, where it was erected with a jib length of 50 metres and free-standing height of 30 metres.

Vertikal Days is organized by Vertikal Press, group editor of prestigious crane magazines "Cranes & Access” and "Kran & Bühne".
