The HANSA-TMP brand has become an increasingly well-known player in the hydrostatic transmissions business, for trucked and wheeled vehicles, supplying manufacturers worldwide in the agricultural, construction and urban material handling markets.
The HANSA-TMP Mechatronics Research Centre (MRC), based in Modena – Italy, has been a pioneer in developing the first variable displacement closed loop axial piston pump able to combine top performance, cost-efficiency and compactness.
TOP PERFORMANCE
The high power density pump TPV 1500 series, with displacement 17-24 cm³, is among the top performers of its category reaching a peak pressure of 400 bar. This is an essential feature to carry out, without any performance loss, heavy duties even under the most difficult working conditions, such as steep slopes on a construction site or extreme temperature in a mining tunnel.
The resistance of the pump to this high pressure range is ensured by an accurate tolerance design of the external structure as well as the internal components of the pump. This results from a software based structural study and digital simulations study during the designing phase.
Even though the pump can reach 400 bar it is noiseless while working the highest performance possible, this makes the pump suitable for applications operating in residential and urban areas.
Moreover, controllability and reliability have truly become consistent themes in HANSA-TMP’s line of pumps and this latest TPV 1500 series certainly does that reputation justice. On the one hand, power and strength of the pump are perfectly controlled by an integrated feed-back control and full range of on-board electronic sensors such as pressure sensor, speed/RPM sensor, swash plate angle sensors, which are customers needs-customized in order to offer them a high-safety warranty.
EFFICIENCY
By utilizing a “back-to-back” structure with central distribution line, the pump TPV 1500 series achieve compact dimensions which had been firstly introduced by HANSA-TMP in the TPV 1200 series as a novelty in the world on closed loop pumps. In fact, the single pump is 170,5 mm long and the tandem pump is 285 mm long, the latter is circa 60 mm shorter than the competition standards.
As a matter of fact, HANSA-TMP series TPV 1500 is able to increase uptime and endure the most challenging working conditions. In particular, the high pressure level (up to 400 bar) allows the downsizing of the power transmission components reducing then the size and guaranteeing a low-consumption in fuel and in energy up to 8%.
HANSA-TMP Mechatronics Research Centre (MRC)
This jump in technology was achieved via major investments of HANSA-TMP in a brand new Mechatronics Research Centre (MRC), which makes use of the most advanced software from the development of the project’s concept to the fluid simulation and a cutting-edge prototype technique. Moreover, the hi-tech testing benches ensure a direct power of 150Kw and with regenerative system 230Kw. The testing benches are equipped with sensitive software and sensors for the input analysis, the analysis frequency is 0,1 mil/sec, customised to reduce time to market, ensure cost-effective production and the highest level of quality maintained through out all the production cycles.
HANSA-TMP is certified for the quality of products and process through ISO 9001 certification and for the sustainability of the operations through ISO 14001.
