A new Drifter in the Montabert family

Montabert will exhibit during Intermat a new hydraulic drifter : the HC28. This 10kW (output) drifter is the latest model coming from the hydraulic rock drill inventor (1970). With is compact and robust design, the HC28 will reach a cost per meter among the lowest in the market.

Its great versatility will allow the HC28 to drill holes from 32 to 64 millimeters diameter, both for surface or underground jobs, and both for standard drilling or anchoring.

The HC28 has been designed to be quickly and easily mounted on any type of carrier, without having to perform heavy adaptations or special fittings on the machine. Maintenance operations have also been set to be simple and ergonomical, to minimize downtime and costs.

Montabert masters shockwave transmission since decades. By transmitting energy in an optimal way, rods, bits and shanks lifespans are maximized. Moreover, the HC28 front guide is much less stressed, mainly regarding temperature increases. Hence, like all other Montabert drifters, the HC28 has very low lubricant consumptions in comparison with the market standards.

The HC28 will be shown during Intermat, from the 23rd to the 28th of April, on Montabert’s booth (hall 5B, stand P044).
