The online auction platform for used agricultural technology ab-auction.com from AGRAVIS and BayWa is very pleased. In an online vote by the international search engine for industrial auctions, "TradeMachines.de", ab-auction.com with other websites was announced as "Auctioneer of the year".
The public prize was awarded at USETEC in Karlsruhe, the world's largest trade fair for used technology. This places ab-auction.com in the top 16 of a total of 260 online auctions assessed. The users had to judge the categories of Offer, Service and Website.
New functions on the auction platform
Since the start of the year, ab-auction.com has been offering new functions to its customers. Apart from the popular auctions, users can also buy direct and the purchase price can be suggested. A separate machine pool has been created by AGRAVIS and BayWa for this in addition to the auction engines.
The target group, which is addressed by the special offer, extends from hobby farmers to the full professional with a large fleet of machinery. This should make the additional offers on ab-auction.com even more attractive and reach more customers.
Two-week auctions
With the by direct and suggested price functions, the customers get direct feeback about the purcxhase or their suggested price. Users can register for free to use the innovations on ab-auction.com. The well-known auctions on ab-auction remain unchanged even with the birect buy option. The auctions take place every Tuesday in alternate weeks from 19.00 hours.
AGRAVIS and BayWa have been placing selected offers from a common assortment of almost 8,000 machines on ab-auction.com since the end of 2013. The platform with the two-week auctions has already had more than 240,000 visitors from across Europe.
