Greater Manchester based Aerial Platforms Ltd (APL) has just taken delivery of its first Niftylift Height Rider 28 (HR28) Hybrid.

This HR28 Hybrid which delivers a 28m working height and a staggering 20m of outreach, is the first of two that APL have ordered and makes-up just part of its 2014-15 fleet additions from Niftylift.

These include a number of: HR12 4x4s, Queen's Award winning HR17 4x4 Hybrids, HR17N Hybrids (launched in Q4 of 2014) in addition to the HR28 Hybrids.

When asked why APL chose Niftylift and its Hybrid booms in particular, Jason Seddon, MD and owner of APL commented:

"After years of working for the 'big three' we decided to set up on our own and bought a mixed bag of 24 platforms. The Niftylift machines quickly stood out due to their low payloads, integral secondary guarding systems (SiOPS®) and economical Hybrid power, putting them well ahead of the game.

"In the 7 years (8 in 2015) since we started our fleet has grown significantly, but we've remained focused on delivering the benefits that the Niftylift booms offer to our customers and the company has gone from strength to strength."

Tim Ward, UK Sales Manager for Niftylift commented:

"Niftylift's Hybrid platforms offer lower transportation costs, lower fuel consumption and lower emissions, while still delivering market-beating reach performance and safety.

"APL's willingness to embrace these innovations have enabled it to position itself in a fast-growing and rewarding niche with an impressive fleet of Niftylifts. A well-deserved success story."
