  • Lindner introduces the Lintrac 160 LDrive, its most powerful tractor to date, at Agritechnica.

  • The tractor features a 4.5-liter FPT engine delivering 129 kW (175 hp) and 700 Nm torque, paired with a stepless ZF TMT14 transmission.

  • Four-wheel steering enhances maneuverability, making it highly agile for various farming and municipal tasks.

  • The new operating concept includes an advanced armrest with touch display and dual control options, combined with a spacious, comfortable air-suspended cab.

  • Series production of the Lintrac 160 LDrive will begin in May 2026.

With the stepless Lintrac 160 LDrive, the Austrian family-owned company is unveiling the most powerful tractor in its history at Agritechnica. At the heart of the machine is the ZF stepless transmission TMT14. The new 4.5-liter FPT engine delivers 129 kW (175 hp) and impresses with extremely strong torque (700 Nm). Thanks to four-wheel steering, the Lintrac 160 LDrive is the most maneuverable model in its performance class.

Lindner’s appearance at this year’s Agritechnica is all about the Lintrac 160 LDrive. The new tractor from Tyrol was developed for farms that need plenty of power combined with maximum comfort and revolutionary maneuverability. Typical applications include work with combination balers, arable and row-crop farming, contract work, and maintenance tasks. In addition, the Lintrac 160 LDrive has been tailored for year-round municipal use. Series production begins in May 2026.

More powerful and more agile than ever

The centerpiece is the stepless TMT14 transmission, developed by Lindner and ZF specifically for this tractor. Power Management ensures perfect coordination between engine and transmission. Going a step further, the intelligent transmission control Smart Lift automatically delivers the ideal gear ratio, for example during front loader operations. Professionals can choose from four PTO speeds: 540, 750, 1000, and 1400 rpm.

For the first time, Lindner is fitting an FPT engine with 4.5 liters displacement and a massive 700 Nm of torque. With an output of 129 kW (175 hp), the Lintrac 160 LDrive is the most powerful Lindner tractor of all time.

Hydraulic output is 120 l/min. As with all Lindner vehicles, the Lintrac 160 LDrive features a separate oil balance for working hydraulics/steering and the transmission. The axial piston pump delivers the required oil flow efficiently, even at low engine speeds.

Four-wheel steering makes the Lintrac 160 LDrive the most maneuverable tractor in its hp class. The steering linkage is guided under the cab and, like all Lintrac models with 4-wheel steering already available on the market, achieves a steering angle of up to 20°. The steering rear axle offers major advantages in grassland, arable farming, and narrow municipal streets. Fewer steering maneuvers save both time and fuel.

Rear hitch lifting capacity is 7 t, enabling the use of heavier implements. For comparison: the strongest Geotrac 134ep, produced until 2018 and still highly sought-after on the used market, had a capacity of 6,6 t.

Completely new operating concept, maximum comfort

Operators will experience a completely new control concept in the Lintrac 160 LDrive. At its center is the new armrest, which now integrates an additional touch display and helps controlling all key tractor functions. Alongside the proven LDrive rotary control, the Lintrac 160 LDrive introduces an LDrive stick. While the rotary control remains the tool of choice for precise fine-tuning, the LDrive stick allows drivers to accelerate and brake more directly—especially useful in transport operations.

The air-suspended cab is designed for long working hours and, together with the suspended front axle and independent wheel suspension, ensures maximum ride comfort. Cab volume has been increased by 30 percent, and the automatic climate control system has been significantly upgraded to provide a pleasant working environment even on very hot days. For low outside temperatures the winter package including seat heating, heated front-window and heated side mirrors is standard.
