Experience Wacker Neuson live: Under the umbrella of the Wacker Neuson Group, the brand is represented at Bauma 2016 in the open-air exhibition grounds at stand 1109-1209. New as well as time-tested and proven products and a broad range of services rendered that are tailored to customer needs will be on display. Demo shows, demo areas and testing possibilities bring the visitors close to the diverse application areas. Visitors can thus convince themselves of the reliability and performance efficiency of the Wacker Neuson portfolio.

Wacker Neuson: experience the brand

“Wacker Neuson — all it takes” is the value proposition that Wacker Neuson gives its customers. In addition to the comprehensive product and services portfolio, the brand stands for reliable solutions, a strong partner and a solid experienced company. This promise is also to be reflected in the trade fair appearance of Wacker Neuson at Bauma 2016. “Strong brands create trust,” says Cem Peksaglam, CEO of the Wacker Neuson Group. “With the message ‘Wacker Neuson — all it takes’, we give our customers a holistic promise: We are the strong partner on their side and a guarantee for reliability in every strategic business segment and supported by every single employee.”

Within the range of compaction, the company once again demonstrates its unbroken power of innovation, which began with the invention of the rammer in the year 1930. To this day, Wacker Neuson offers the cleanest rammers on the market. The time-tested and proven two-cycle rammers are designed for a high level of productivity, power output and service life and are driven by Wacker Neuson's specifically developed WM80 engine that, thanks to its catalytic converter, falls well below all emission limits. At the same time, they are the gasoline vibratory rammers with the lowest total emissions on the market. Among other things, this is made possible by a multi-stage air cleaner system that ensures the operational readiness of the rammer in the long term and efficiently cleans the intake air.

The success story of the rammer inventor continues in 2016 with the presentation of the battery-powered rammers AS30e and AS50e, which will be presented at Bauma 2016 with an improved travel speed. These vibratory rammers are part of the Wacker Neuson "zero emission" series, which also includes the electric wheel loader WL20e, the track dumper DT10e as well as the mini-excavator 803 dual power.

Five new models in the upper performance segment of reversible vibratory plates will also be presented. The models DPU80 and DPU110, which are offered with either a center pole or remote control, as well as the new center pole-controlled vibratory plate DPU90, are part of the portfolio with extremely low values in the area of hand-arm vibrations, which now consists of a total of ten models. The remote-controlled models DPU80r, DPU110r and DPU130r work even more comfortably. All models are extremely powerful. An infrared remote control provides for the highest level of safety for operators and the surroundings — a feature for which Wacker Neuson received the EuroTest certification.

Within the range of concrete compaction, Wacker Neuson is presenting its entire product range of internal and external vibrators. The broad product range of internal vibrators is the focus. Based on the application, the customer can thus choose from a modular HMS system, the basic line IEC and IE or the premium lines IRFU or IREN. The modular premium system IRFUflex will be presented at Bauma for the first time. It consists of a converter, which can be combined with various vibrator heads and a protection hose length of 0.3 to 10 meters. Thanks to an extremely sturdy coupling, the vibrator head of the IRFUflex series can be replaced with just a few steps. With the modular system, the units can be very easily and quickly customized and assembled. In the process, this saves costs, space and effort for storage.

The wheel dumper DW50 will be presented for the first time at Bauma 2016. It complements the series of low-maintenance, hydrostatic all-wheel drive ECO mode units that above all stand out in uneven ground conditions due to the optimal off-road capability and traction and that includes the models DW60, DW90 and DW100 with payloads of 6, 9 and 10 tons. The new dumper has compact dimensions, is extremely maneuverable and can hold its own with much larger models when it comes to the technical outfitting: an innovative operating concept for the control console, including joystick operation, the wear-free spring-loaded parking brake, which is extremely durable and reliable, and many other details provide for the highest level of operating comfort. 5-ton payload and a travel speed of up to 28 km/h make the dumper DW50 an effective helper that can be used to move a great deal quickly. Two forward and one backward-facing headlight, full road lighting as well as large rear-view mirrors on the ROPS bar provide for an optimal view. The wide and safe access into the machine is particularly user-friendly. The optimized skip design for a better view forward, a back-up alarm and a rear vision camera also increase the level of safety.

The excavator models EZ80 and EZ53 are also celebrating their premiere at Bauma 2016. The two zero tail excavators — without tail swing — are ideal for working in confined spaces, which often occur in urban areas. This makes high excavation capacities possible, even in hard to reach places. The smaller model EZ53 with an operating weight of around 5.3 tons is one of the most powerful excavators in its class. It is particularly convincing when it comes to the excavation and handling capacity. The tiltable cabin, an engine hood located on the side and large removable chassis covers inside and out allow for an extremely easy service access. Up to five auxiliary control circuits with their own pressure-less return line are offered for multi-functional attachments. The larger model EZ80 with an operating weight of around eight tons scores with a low fuel consumption. Clear displays, sliding windows that open on both sides, a two-piece windshield, automatic air conditioning and the air-cushioned driver’s seat with seat heating give the cabin a high level of comfort. These models complement the recently introduced series of track and wheeled excavators up to 10 tons (ET65, ET90, EW65 and EW100), which have been in great demand since their market launch. All machines are extremely powerful thanks to the innovative kinematics and a bucket angle of rotation of over 200 degrees with a simultaneously very economical fuel consumption.

There is also news from the telehandlers of Wacker Neuson. The model TH627 is in the popular 2x2 meter class. It is a valuable helper in confined application areas with a maximum stacking height of nearly 6 meters, compact dimensions with a height of 1.98 meters and a width of 1.96 meters as well as a high degree of maneuverability. The all-wheel steering with generous steering angles contribute to the telehandler being able to quickly and safely tackle stacking and transport work, even in confined spaces. Wacker Neuson therefore now offers ten finely-tiered models, which have stacking heights from seven to ten meters and that are characterized by sophisticated ergonomics, operator friendliness and the intelligent driver assistance system Vertical Lift System (VLS).

The new wheel loaders WL44 and WL54 have additional features in terms of comfort and are characterized by an extremely sturdy design and large lifting heights. Both powerful all-rounders are outfitted with a comfort cabin with individually adjustable seat and armrests. Their windows can be opened up to 180 degrees. The optional air-conditioning system provides for pleasant working temperatures in any weather.

Full service without compromise

In addition to the new products, however, the Wacker Neuson brand stands for much more. Comprehensive services rendered, such as advice, repair and maintenance, rental, financing or training, are just as much a part of the offering as new and used machines, solutions and spare parts. For the goal is to combine the sales organization, products and services rendered into comprehensive solutions, to create competitive advantages for customers and to allow them to focus entirely on their core business.

Wacker Neuson's portfolio of services rendered is characterized by a dense sales and service network. All Wacker Neuson service locations are staffed with qualified personnel and have professionally equipped workshops at their disposal, which quickly solve any problems from around the world. The efficient logistics allow for quick spare parts availability, in most cases in Europe within just 24 hours. If necessary, carefully trained technicians provide support on site at the job site and ensure a quick repair. At Wacker Neuson, only original spare parts are used, which ensures the sustainable value retention of the machines.
