Alliance Tire Group will showcase its newest forestry tire range at ELMIA WOOD, the world’s largest forestry fair that will be held in the Swedish forest south of Jönköping.

Alliance offers a wide range of tires for forestry machines such as Log Skidders, Harvesters, Forwarders, Tractors and Trailers. Alliance LS-2 tires are built with special forestry compound that resist cutting and chipping. Additionally, these tires are reinforced with steel belts to prevent punctures. Alliance offers also a range of Agro-forestry tires for forestry tractors with steel belts, designed to operate efficiently in tough forestry conditions.

Alliance F343 Forestar (600/55-26.5)

Alliance FORESTAR 343 Flotation tire represents the most sophisticated design for application in forestry machines such as harvesters and forwarders. This tire is characterized by wide and robust lugs with low angles providing excellent grip on wide range of forestry terrains in addition to the known bogie truck standard design defined by leading track producers. Thus the F343 can be used with bogie tracks. Some of its features are strong steel breakers, basic nylon tire structure, special durable tread compound, high under tread gauge and strong & thick sidewalls.

Alliance F342 radial (600/60R28) – High performance tires for tough forestry applications

Alliance 342 Radial Forestry series includes the entire forestry flotation radial and relevant forestry tractor sizes. Its big and strong tread pattern enables long tread life, excellent traction, grip and reliability while working on slopes. The tread pattern is reinforced by small lugs located on the shoulders. These lugs protect the shoulders from side damages done by stones and branches. The tire is steel reinforced under the tread area to prevent punctures during forestry operations. The special compound used in the tire sidewall structure enables high stability of forestry tractors at high tilt angles. The special rubber compounds used for the tread and sidewall gives long, efficient protection from chipping and chunking which are the major concerns in forestry operations.

Alliance F344 Forestar (710/45-26.5) – Designed for the most extreme forestry conditions

The F344 Flotation LS-2 is a bias belted tire with steel reinforcement for high puncture resistance. The tire uses special tread compound and has very thick sidewalls and under tread. The reinforced bead of the tire provides exceptional performance. Its lower lug angle provides excellent grip and exhibits self-cleaning characteristics due to its wide inter-lug space which is vital in logging applications. The close spacing of the lugs in the centre of the tire reduces rolling resistance on hard surfaces. The F344 is designed to handle various terrains without chains/bogie trucks. However, it is still compatible with chains & bogie trucks when extra traction and performance is needed.

Alliance F345 (23.1-26) – Built to deal with the toughest operation in modern forestry

Alliance 345 Forestry Flotation LS-2 is a bias belted tire with steel reinforcement for high puncture resistance. The tire uses special tread compound and has very thick sidewalls and under tread. The reinforced bead of the tire provides exceptional performance. Its lower lug angle provides excellent grip and exhibits self-cleaning characteristics due to its wide interlug space which is vital in logging applications. The close spacing of the lugs in the centre of the tire reduces rolling resistance on hard surfaces. The 345 is designed to handle various terrains without chains/bogie trucks.

Alliance 328 Forest (550/45-22.5) – The specialist for heavy loads and harsh conditions

Alliance 328 Heavy Duty Flotation tire is a specially designed tire constructed to carry heavy loads and is used in harsh conditions. The tire also provides much better ride comfort, higher machine mobility, better self-cleaning and better overall performances on road. Special reinforced bead, steel belt and heavy duty construction are some the unique features of this tire’s construction. This tire is ideal for trailers, forestry trailers and forest harvesters.
