Alltech Introduces Higher Capacity Asphalt Batch Mix Plants

Gujarat-based Alltech which manufactures its plants under a technical tie-up with POLITA of Turkey has introduced higher capacity 200 to 240 tph plants for both the domestic and export markets. Moreover, the company is also making improvisations in their existing batching plants (80-120-160 tph) to reduce their maintenance requirements and make them more user-friendly and thereby enhance their efficiency with the right levels of temperature in the batched bitumen.

In accordance with this, Alltech ensures that its equipment will have the right quality standards and will be less prone to wear and tear. For example, to ensure extended life of the wear parts, such as the tips of the mixing blades, it is making some design modifications. In addition, it is making the plant’s automation systems more user-friendly, and design improvisations are also being carried out in the internal fl‎ight of the dryers.

As fuel quality and availability is a big challenge in India, Alltech has designed multi fuel systems in its plants so that customers can use waste, heavy or recycled oil, diesel, Ldo or gas, supported by its various burners. It also has technology for utilization of R‎AP materials to the highest extent. Alltech ensures faster and cheaper transportation and quick set up of its plants because all parts have standardized transport dimensions that allow use of standard trucks or 20 and 40-ft trailers.

Alltech is making significant investments in R&D for developing technologically advanced products and systems that process recycled asphalt pavements with minimum impact on the plant’s efficiency and pollution controls. The company provides extensive support to its customers through timely supply of spare parts, the requisite technical support, and training to operators and customer’s maintenance te‎am.
