The Spanish Association of Exporting Manufacturers of Construction, Public Works, and Mining Equipment (ANMOPYC) and the Aragón Technological Institute (ITA) have signed an agreement to promote technological innovation, sustainability, and competitiveness in the industrial and sustainable construction sector.
The President of ITA´s Governing Council, Mar Vaquero, represented by ITA Director Esther Borao, along with ANMOPYC President Rafael Simón Faus, formalized the agreement on December 17, 2024.
This strategic collaboration commits both entities to fostering joint R&D&I projects aligned with national and European funding programs. The focus is on developing and adopting advanced technologies that propel digitalization and sustainability within the sector. Additionally, they aim to promote technological transfer and implement solutions centered on digitalization, sustainability, and Industry 4.0 for ANMOPYC member companies. The agreement also includes activities like specialized training, technological awareness, and competitive intelligence to strengthen innovation and internationalization capabilities.

Environmental Sustainability:
Efforts will be made to design machinery incorporating recycled or bio-based materials, improve energy efficiency, and adopt alternative fuels. They will create testing and demonstration spaces for innovative technologies and establish a shared technology monitoring system to stay updated on emerging standards and technologies.
