In February 2012 TTS Marine AB signed a contract for delivery of access solutions to TUI’s newbuilding at the Turku yard, christened as

Mein Schiff 3, and later successfully delivered in May 2014. TTS got the confidence to deliver the same equipment also to her sister and signed a contract with the Meyer Turku yard in December 2014. The sister vessel, Mein Schiff 4 is now delivered to her owner, TUI Cruises.

The contributions from TTS includes shell doors, platforms, covers, elevators and gangways as well as luggage and provision side loading systems, in total about 40 items . The TTS deliveries includes design, fabrication and installation of the equipment.
The above two newbuildings for TUI Cruises will be followed by another two, Mein Schiff 5 and 6, to be built at the same yard In Finland. Based on the experience from the deliveries to the two previous vessels TTS Marine AB has been chosen to deliver the access equipment also for the next two vessels.
The delivery and installation of equipment to Mein Schiff 5 and 6, will be completed by the end of March 2016 and mid-February 2017 respectively. Mein Schiff 5 is scheduled for delivery to the owner during May 2016 and Mein Schiff 6 during May 2017.
These deliveries and projects confirms the cruise industry’s appreciation and satisfaction of TTS equipment and solutions developed for this and other cruise vessel projects.
Among other things, TTS scope include telescopic aluminium gangways. This is an easy-to-install-and-operate feature that both saves space and makes passenger access swifter as it can be used as both an on-board gangway and give access from the terminal through the very same passenger door.

TTS has also developed all-electric solutions for cruise doors, responding to the industry’s clear commitment to cleaner operations in environmentally sensitive areas. This application will be delivered to two newbuildings for Star Cruises under construction at Meyer Werft in Papenburg.
