APEX 2014 – Chapter 4

This is the fourth chapter of Socage’s story about the platforms that will be shown in APEX fair, in Amsterdam. The fourth model that will be presented is the forSte 37DJ, a double articulated aerial platform with jib. This platform can reach more performing movements than a simple double articulated one. Indeed, the double articulation is equipped with a jib, which is a further articulation that helps overcoming easily aerial obstacles and performing better movements. The forSte 37DJ can be mounted on a 11 ton vehicle and reaches a 37.3 m working height, a 23 m outreach, and has a maximum load capacity of 300 kg (3 operators + tools). Despite its dimensions, the forSte 37DJ is very compact and easy to be used, perfect to be driven through city centers and narrow spaces.
