The highly efficient and flexible universal machine
Unveiled at the 2013 Bauma, the ARP 95 is the latest addition to Ammann’s family of articulated tandem rollers. Weighing in at 10 tonnes, it is the perfect representative of the class of universal machines that can be eployed at any location in the world where maximum agility and high compaction output are called for. Independent steering of the front and rear drums ensures outstanding flexibility, even when working conditions are difficult. This machine also offers crab mode, making it suitable for construction sites of all sizes. The ARP 95’s engine is compliant with the Tier 4i/EU Stage 3B emission standard. All the other models in the family of articulated rollers are equipped with engines as per Tier 3/EU Stage 3A and Tier 4i/EU Stage 3B.
The innovative display-based machine control, integrated into the operating platform, embodies a steering concept that typifies the new generation of asphalt compaction rollers. All the main machine parameters can be called up on the display – starting with standard information for the operator about engine, hydraulic and compaction parameters through to detailed data for service technicians. Thanks to their high-performance diesel engines and revised design, these machines take efficiency to unprecedented levels. Ammann has also given top priority to simple servicing and maintenance of the machine. This is why the cab can be lowered for easy access to all the main servicing points, so that day-to-day maintenance work is perfectly straightforward. In addition, these articulated tandem rollers feature a host of compaction measurement and control functions. The ACEforce and ACEpro systems supply detailed information on the entire compaction process, enabling continuous control and monitoring of the working process.
