Solutions for every application
The series of Ammann single drum rollers features machines from 3 to 35 tonnes. Designed in accordance with the latest directives, these rollers offer an exceptionally high level of operating convenience, unique compaction output and outstanding productivity. The machines of the 3 to 9 tonne category are ideal for small to medium compaction jobs on inner-city road and building construction sites including pipe and cable laying activities. Machines in the 10 to 17 tonne category are universal in use, while those in the 20 to 25 tonne class are designed for heavy-duty tasks such as constructing highways, railways, airports, industrial areas and harbours. In 2015, Ammann will introduce a completely new machine to the 20/22 tonne category that will meet the requirements of the Tier 4f/EU Stage 4 emission standard. All the other models are equipped with engines as per Tier 1/EU Stage 1, Tier 3/ EU Stage 3A and Tier 4i/EU Stage 3B.
The tried and tested concept behind the Ammann machines without a rear axle, coupled with exceptional compaction output and the latest diesel engines for all weight categories, simplifies maintenance and lowers operating costs in the long term. Furthermore, the concept also includes compact machines that guarantee the greatest possible stability even under extreme conditions. Ammann is the world leader in the field of intelligent compaction thanks to numerous CCC (continuous compaction control) functions. The Ammann systems ACEforce and ACEpro supply the operator with detailed information on the entire compaction process, thus enabling continuous control and monitoring of the working process.
