  • ZANDT cargo's AT-P low-bed trailer platform series offers high payload, flexibility, ergonomics, and economy, now extended for agricultural use.

  • Contractor Schäfer uses the AT-P 300 with a bale grid to transport large volumes of hay and straw during the 2024 harvest.

  • The AT-P 400 with a bale grid will be showcased at DELUTA 2024 in Bremen, meeting customer Uwe Kroll's needs for combining construction and agricultural logistics.

  • The AT-P series features a robust stanchion grid and certified lashing eyes for secure and versatile load handling.

  • The chassis concept allows seamless switching between tractor and truck road technology, ensuring cost-effectiveness and high residual value.

  • Managing Director Manfred Zandt highlights the importance of customer dialogue and the series' past iF product design award, marking continued success in agricultural logistics.

With the AT-P low-bed trailer platform series, ZANDT cargo offers straight turntable low-bed trailers with maximum payload, high flexibility, outstanding ergonomics and optimum economy. There is now also an extension for agricultural use to meet the diverse practical requirements.

This extended application option is based on customer requirements for mowing round and square bales of hay and straw in large quantities during the mowing season. The contractor Schäfer from Bad Wünneberg has chosen the option with the bale grid for the AT-P 300 for this application. “Up to 80 m³ volume can be removed in one load. In addition to my tasks for moving construction machinery, this ensured additional transport and capacity utilization,” says Michael Schäfer.

AT-P 400 at DELUTA 2024 in Bremen

The AT-P 400 with bale grid will be exhibited for customer Uwe Kroll from Zetel at the major agricultural contractors' conference in Bremen DELUTA.

One of Uwe Kroll's requirements for the AT-P series is to combine the advantages of logistics for construction site equipment and construction machinery with the volume transportation of hay and straw. For this purpose, there is a stable and well-designed stanchion grid at the front, which secures bales in a form-fitting load lock.At the same time, a close-meshed and resilient lashing concept has been integrated into the front and rear as well as the two long sides. The lashing eyes used are certified and designed for the highest loads from the heavy-duty sector. This means that perfect lashing concepts are pre-equipped for every application.

The entire chassis concept is based on sophisticated components from the high-speed range. The customer can switch immediately from lof use with a tractor to truck road technology as required. This not only gives the customer confidence in high-quality technology and the highest quality workmanship, but also ensures a high level of cost-effectiveness and residual value independence.

Managing Director Manfred Zandt emphasizes: “For ZANDT cargo, close dialogue with customers and drivers is always important for a high level of working comfort during daily use. The series has already been successfully awarded the iF product design in the past. Now we are adding another successful chapter for agricultural logistics.”
