Atlas Copco included in FTSE4Good

Stockholm, Sweden, March 22, 2011: Atlas Copco has achieved continued membership in the FTSE4Good index, which brings together world-leading companies in terms of environmental, social and governance practices.

In the latest rating, compiled by global index provider FTSE Group, Atlas Copco received an overall score of 99 out of 100. The score measures performance on a number of themes, including environmental management, human and labor rights, and countering bribery.

“Being included in the FTSE4Good shows we are really on the right track with the work we do in the area of corporate responsibility,” says Annika Berglund, Senior Vice President Corporate Communications at Atlas Copco AB. “With last year’s launch of our brand promise ‘Sustainable Productivity,’ and this year’s announcement of a range of updated non-financial targets, this is truly an integrated part of the way Atlas Copco does business.”
