In September 2014, Atlas signed a frame agreement with DONG Energy for the provision of offshore wind specialists to DONG’s UK offshore wind farms. This week, Atlas’ relationship with DONG grows stronger with the signing of a new five year contract for Atlas’ offshore wind personnel to work with DONG in Germany.
As the world’s largest offshore wind farm developer, DONG Energy have built more than one third of the offshore wind market and are able to supply clean electricity to five million Europeans. The five year contract will allow Atlas’ offshore wind specialists to work on DONG’s projects based in Germany, both onshore and offshore in the North Sea.
Rory McMahon, Atlas Operations Manager for Offshore Wind said: “Since we started working with DONG in 2014 on the UK framework we have enjoyed the collaborative approach fostered between our two companies. We are absolutely delighted that we have now been given the opportunity to support DONG with this additional framework agreement and look forward to consolidating our partnership in the provision of Offshore Wind personnel services.”
