Autokrane Kurth receives Terex AC 100/4L All terrain crane

“The Terex AC 100/4L is not only the narrowest and most compact four-axle unit on the market, but it’s also tremendously versatile and flexible. That means we can use it to cover an enormously wide range of projects for our customers in the industrial and trades sectors – it’s our all-rounder.” These were the words that Marcel Kurth, namesake and General Manager of Blankenheim-based crane service provider Autokrane Kurth, had to say when receiving the keys for his new machine from Michael Zieger, Sales Manager at Terex Cranes. The unit was handed beginning of June at the Terex Cranes Zweibrücken location, where Kurth traveled in person.

With a 60-meter main boom and a main boom extension, plus an optional emergency relief system as an accessory, the Terex AC 100/4L has the perfect configuration for the company’s needs. Another advantage from the Terex customer’s perspective: With its width of 2.55 meters, it is the only crane in the 100 tonne lifting capacity class to fit within standard truck dimensions even when equipped with large tires. But the purchase decision was based on more than just technical advantages: “We know that we can always count on Terex to provide us with irreproachable service, which is something really important to us. Throughout the years, this has led to us developing a friendly relationship with our contact, Michael Zieger, who we feel takes really good care of us. That’s another important reason why we’re always glad to do business with Terex,” says Kurth.
