Features include:

  • Proven JCB 4 cylinder DieselMax engines, Stage IIIA complaint as standard

  • Standard LiveLink for Power – monitor and manage one generator or an entire fleet

  • Intuitive, user-friendly Deep Sea Electronics controllers

  • Mecc Alte alternators, delivering 3-5% efficiency improvement

  • Sturdy, sound and weather attenuated canopy

Rental ready

The first four RS-branded generators from JCB Power Products will offer outputs of 60, 80, 100 and 125kVA, the most popular power nodes for rental machines. The 60, 80 and 100kVA models are powered by JCB’s reliable mechanically-controlled Stage IIIA DieselMax engines, while the 130kVA model has an electronically-controlled DieselMax. The generator design has been future-proofed, to accept engines up to Stage V emissions standards in years to come.

JCB engines deliver renowned fuel economy and long service life. The generator sets can be supplied with an optional engine coolant heater and battery charger for static installations, or an optional anti-condensation heater to ensure that the alternator remains dry between periods of rental.

Livelink for Power as standard

The RS range is equipped with JCB’s LiveLink for Power telematic system, to remotely monitor the generator or an entire fleet. This allows fleet managers and company owners to access operating data on all JCB generators working in the field, to ensure minimal downtime and to maximise availability for the customer.

JCB Power Products uses Deep Sea Electronics (DSE) controllers on the RS models. The DSE 7310 provides an Auto Start Module, while the 7320 comes with a Mains Failure Module. These recognised controllers provide a user-friendly configuration with configurable display languages for global operation. A Deep Sea controller 8610 is available as an option, complete with synchronising and load sharing control module. This intelligent controller provides configurable inputs/outputs for multiple installations options.

The RS generator sets use Mecc Alte alternators, which are between 3-5% more efficient than many competitive brands. Standard DSR Automatic Voltage Regulators ensure seamless power back-up, essential for operations such as IT and data centre back-up and support.

Sturdy canopy construction

The four generators are supplied in a robust, durable canopy that is Zinctec powder-coated for additional longevity. With a single integrated lift point, that removes the requirement for regular lift testing, JCB Power Products generators are sound and weather attenuated, offering sound levels as low as 65dB(A) at 7m. The bunded robust base frame also incorporate fork lift pockets for ease of movement, along with integrated tie-down points for secure transport and on-site movement.

Long run fuel tanks are standard, with a 24-hour operating tanks available as an option. Fuel filtration and water separation down to 5 micron is also standard on all four models, ensuring performance in the toughest site conditions. Schneider four-pole main line breakers are included with both MCBs and MCCBs on all JCB generators.
