Maibach Velen presents intelligent camera system for construction site security

After a successful 2013 trade show, Maibach Velen will attend this year’s bauma once again. The Münsterland based company will present its video system BauWatch among other things at fair booth 1310/3 in the open air area South from April 11-17.

The camera system is an efficient solution to ensure construction site security. Apart from its simple installation it stands out for its reliable surveillance. This is mainly due to the intelligent software, which ensures that undesirable persons or vehicles can be recognised and a silent alarm can be triggered automatically. To avoid false alarms, a control station which is staffed around the clock – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, verifies every alarm. The expert audience also will be presented with a solar powered version of the mobile video surveillance. The camera tower is equipped with high-performance solar panels on three sides. During the day the system’s batteries are being charged so that comprehensive and reliable surveillance can be guaranteed during the night. In addition to self-sufficient and environmentally friendly power generation (because CO2-neutral) the solar BauWatch also ensures independence as no wires are needed for energy generation. As a result, the system can be used without any problems in remote areas with no power sources. “This is an advantage especially on extensive construction sites where it is difficult to ensure suitable energy supply,” says Benno Blömen, Managing Director Maibach Velen.

Site Managers and Project Managers can obtain further information directly at BauWatch fair booth 1310/3, open air area South at the bauma in Munich.
