Efficient and sustainable agriculture
Anticipate future market requirements early and convert them into professional technologies: This must be the core competence of a market leader. BERGMANN will show how this is implemented at the AGRITECHNICA. The universal spreader TSW 6240 S boasts practical equipment, user-friendly features and pioneering developments.
The careful handling of organic fertilizers is gaining in importance. This prompted BERGMANN to equip the TSW 6240 S with new machine controls. This novel new development utilizes various machine parameters, which make, e.g. TaskController site specific partial spreading possible. And the ISOBUS - Terminal CCI200 shows important information and settings in a coloured, graphic display. Through the AEF certification further ISOBUS terminals can be used and functions can even be individually assigned to the keys on the tractor driving lever. The Parallel Tracking App CCI.Command in conjunction with the ISOBUS additionally offers a Parallel driving system, which not only supports the driver with connecting trips, but also shows the already treated area. The terminal is also able to connect to the internet (e.g. farmpilot). Thus spreading orders can be exchanged wirelessly and the vehicle can easily be scheduled on-line.
For the first time, the user can also access a database, which specifies various machine parameters for various spreading materials. The possibility to enter individual values completes this development, making it a welcome help in spreading applications.
On the other hand whoever orders their TSW 6240 S with the proven BCT 20 standard controller gets, addition to an illuminated keypad and display, the option to program multiple functions and thus the possibility to automatically run several operating steps with one touch. "It couldn't be easier," say enthusiastic customers.
However, not only the machine controls are crucial for optimal use. The DLG certified, perfect spreading results are achieved through a number of factors that lead to uniform material spreading:
As with the smallest of the BERGMANN series, the manufacture relies on their conical full-steel body and extra wide bridge with high load capacity. This is connected to with a very sturdy, solid frame where the bottom frame, top frame, side walls and stanchions are firmly welded together.
For uniform movement of the loaded goods to the milling unit, the scraper floor is driven on both sides by two hydraulic motors with two feed gearboxes. Four high-strength round steel chains (each 14 x 50 mm, 100 t per chain), on which solid, non-slip scraper floor bars which are closed at the top are bolted, move the material. The hydraulically adjustable, vertical dosing wall provides for even material feed to the beaters. The opening height can be automatically detected by a measurement system and transferred to the machine control. In particular, the spreading unit with its three beaters - which by the way, are driven by a chainless low-maintenance shaft drive and are equipped with wear-resistant tines - is continuously fed.
An additional highlight is the conical spreading unit hood of which the throughput opening becomes larger from top to bottom. The increasing material flow can fall freely onto the spreader discs, which creates a further basis for a perfect spreading results. The subsequent, movable lower pendulum allows the driver to steplessly and accurately adjust the opening for the material to be spread. A larger space between the opening ans spreader discs, greater amounts of material can be applied. Should there be foreign objects in the material, these can be separated from the material without causing damage due to the newly designed spreader unit pendel and the spreader unit hood.
A variety of special equipment, other individually equipped spreading units, spread pattern limiters or various side wall extensions turn a standard machine into an individually tailored TSW 6240 S, which is optimally adapted to the specific operatingneeds.
The drawbar, which is yet to be matched in terms of stability and workmanship transmits full 4 t load on the tractor's rear axle and directs tensile and transverse forces optimally into the vehicle. Next to the standard hydraulic axle assembly – which allows tire dimensions of 22.5 "26.5" and 30.5 "– this load distribution contributes substantially to safe road handling and optimal traction on fields even with the 24 t gross weight.
The spreader at the AGRITECHNICA will be shown a hydraulically controlled front wall, which makes it possible for the customer to fill the vehicle with smaller loading vehicles when the front wall is lowered without having to sacrifice load capacity during the next use.
As an additional feature, the trailer can be equipped with LED spotlights and numerous colour cameras, so that it can be used safely, reliably and economically in multi-shift operations around the clock.
