Bernd Rohde named new CeMAT Project Manager

Hannover, Germany. Bernd Rohde (41) is the new Project Manager for CeMAT – the world’s leading intralogistics exhibition. Rohde is an accomplished tradeshow specialist who has gained a wealth of international experience. Raised in Mexico, he studied economics at the University of Adelaide, Australia, before beginning his career at the German-Mexican Chamber of Commerce in Mexico City, where he was put in charge of investments, projects and market research. As the managing director of a consulting firm, Rohde subsequently advised German and European enterprises in Mexico, before taking over as executive manager of Messe Frankfurt Mexico.

Rohde succeeds Manfred Kutzinski at the Deutsche Messe group, who was recently appointed Project Manager for Product Launch and Innovations Management, a capacity which involves supporting the group’s foreign subsidiaries in further developing and refining exhibition themes and organizational processes.

In addition to CeMAT Hannover, Rohde is responsible for the foreign-based intralogistics tradeshows produced by Deutsche Messe. These include CeMAT ASIA, CeMAT RUSSIA, CeMAT INDIA, CeMAT SOUTH AMERICA, Materials Handling Eurasia and Intralogistica Italia. Rohde reports to Wolfgang Pech, Senior Vice President at Deutsche Messe.
