Pöttinger's BOSS 5000 MASTER loader wagon features a 5% larger loading chamber and the new EVOMATIC loading unit, boosting loading performance by approximately 25% while ensuring gentle forage handling.
-
The machine offers a wider 2.10-meter pick-up option and larger 710/35-R22.5 tyres on the 13-tonne chassis to improve soil conservation.
-
Specialized variants include the Dry Forage (DF) model for high-volume, low-density crops and the Discharge Beater (DB) model for even crop distribution and flexible unloading.

Designed for family-run farms, the BOSS 5000 series supports diverse grassland harvesting needs including silage, hay, haylage, straw, and basic ration production.
EVOMATIC loading unit for high-performance harvesting; numerous new features
The BOSS 5000 MASTER from Pöttinger starts the new season with an extensive package of new features. The loading chamber capacity is now 5% larger, while the automatic loading unit ensures high throughputs and makes the machine extremely convenient to operate. The pick-up, now available at a width of 2.10 metres as an option, can easily handle large swaths. Even greater conservation of the soil, a valuable resource, is achieved by the new larger tyre dimension of 710/35-R22.5, now also available on the 13-tonne chassis.
Pöttinger developed the EVOMATIC for more power and more forage conservation
The BOSS 5000 MASTER is equipped with the latest EVOMATIC loading unit. EVOMATIC is a Pöttinger in-house development based on the classic tine conveyor system, and is now enhancing the BOSS series. It has all the advantages of a conventional tine conveyor unit but achieves around 25% higher loading performance compared to the previous design of tine conveyor loader wagons. The EVOMATIC loading unit is characterised by impressively smooth operation while ensuring maximum conservation of the forage. Four conveyor tine elements transport the forage continuously and gently through the chopping system into the loading chamber. Wear and maintenance costs are low thanks to the robust construction.
With its EASY MOVE fold-out knife bank (available as an option on 16 and 31-knife knife bank models), the BOSS 5000 MASTER keeps pace with its colleagues in the high-performance sector. It also features modern looks and a well-thought-out design. A range of equipment options makes the new BOSS 5000 MASTER from Pöttinger a high-output all-rounder in grassland harvesting for the production of silage, hay, basic ration, haylage and straw, and it has been developed with family-run farms in mind.

Dry Forage version for high volume crops
Pöttinger has developed the BOSS 5000 DF with loading chamber volumes of 39 m2 and 45 m2 especially for dry crops such as hay, straw and alfalfa. The Dry Forage version offers maximum loader wagon capacity for heavily wilted material and crops with a low specific density, enabling the maximum quantity to be loaded so that cost effectiveness is increased on long transport routes.
The BOSS 5000 DB (Discharge Beater) tine conveyor loader wagon unloads a uniform blanket of crop in the clamp with its two beater rotors. The dynamic geometry and configuration of the beater paddles ensures that stalks are distributed evenly and that there are no clumps of material as it is ejected from the loading chamber. This model can also be equipped with a hydraulic cross conveyor belt that can be switched to deposit material on either side. This makes it easy to place basic ration directly at the feed barrier. Hay and straw can also be transported into the storage area using a blower.
The BOSS 5000 is the highest performance tine conveyor loader wagon from Pöttinger, for high-quality forage at a high loading capacity.
