Bronson Crane purchases first Potain Hup 40-30 in North America at CONEXPO 2017

Bronson Crane is the first North American equipment distributor to purchase Potain’s new Hup 40-30 self-erecting tower crane, a milestone which was just celebrated at the Manitowoc Cranes booth at CONEXPO 2017. Key staff members from Manitowoc presented the Salt Lake City-based company with a commemorative plaque and a limited edition, hand-painted hard hat to commemorate the occasion, and a champagne toast followed soon after. An additional plaque was also made in honor of Bronson’s heavy investment in the Potain brand—from 2014 to 2016, the company purchased more cranes than any other Potain distributor in the U.S.

The 4.4 USt Hup 40-30 shines in both versatility and agility, with several configuration options, a high-performance slewing radius and the best transport package ever designed for a self-erecting crane. Its launch follows the introduction of the Hup 32-27 in mid-2016, and it becomes the second model in the innovative new Hup range. The Hup 40-30 has a 131 ft jib and boasts 16 configurations, which is unique to this category of self-erecting cranes, enabling it to be easily adapted for a range of job site applications.

Bronson Crane has been an official distributor of Potain cranes since 2008
