Case Unveils Impressive Line Up for Plantworx 2013

Case Construction Equipment will showcase an impressive selection of their latest machines, which offer industry leading, low emission and fuel-efficient technology, at the inaugural Plantworx exhibition which take place from the 14th to 16th May, 2013

The extensive line up will also include machines making their first UK appearance. These are the new CX80C Tier 4 Final Midi Excavator, which was recently launched at the pre Bauma event in Germany, and the WX188 Wheeled Excavator. Completing the display will be the 821F series Wheeled Loader, together with selection of models from the C series Crawler Excavator and T series backhoe loader ranges.

Case has also chosen Plantworx as the venue to host the UK heat of this years European Rodeo challenge, where the best operators from across Europe will compete for a place in the final, which takes place in Paris later in the year.

Case technology leads the way with Tier 4 Final
The introduction of the new CX80C and CX75C SR Midi Crawler Excavators demonstrates how Case is leading the way when it comes to Tier 4 emission standards solutions.

The versatility this range provides makes them the ideal option for urban construction sites, thanks to their leading emissions performance and reduced dimensions. These new models provide outstanding performance, delivering 9% more hydraulic power which is down to, high flow hydraulic pumps. Cycle times are reduced and digging forces increased by up to 3%. To ensure they meet the stringent exhaust standards they use cooled exhaust gas recirculation (CEGR), and a Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (DOC) eliminating the need for a costly Diesel Particulate Filter or for fuel-consuming regeneration.

The complete line up
Another Case machine making its UK debut is the WX188 Wheeled Excavator. One of three new generation wheeled excavators, which includes the WX148 and WX168, designed to deliver maximum productivity and precision. The extra powerful hydraulics is managed by the Case Intelligent hydraulic system which offers a single CPU for improved controllability and simplified diagnostics.

The Case C series Crawler Excavator range will also be well represented at the exhibition, with the CX210B, CX130C, together with the short radius CX145C SR, and CX235C. All of these models benefit from new low emission Tier 4 Interim engines, that offer increased efficiency and fuel savings benefits, through the use of the Case Intelligent Hydraulic System (CIHS), incorporating five electronically managed energy saving systems.

Completing Case’s heavy line up display, is the 821F series wheeled loader and the 580ST and 590ST tractor backhoes, known globally as the ‘Construction King’ range. All of these machines deliver a combination of powerful performance and low operating costs, and driver comfort comes as standard. The 821F is equipped with a Tier 4 Interim engine and uses selective catalytic reduction. The 580ST and the 590ST are both powered by Tier 4 Interim, 3.4 litre turbocharged engines, and also incorporate CEGR.
