Caterpillar Inspiring Future Engineers

Caterpillar recently participated in the entirely student-run Engineering EXPO at the University of Wisconsin – Madison, which unites students, industry, and the community by inspiring innovation in the minds of our future generation of engineers. This year’s event was attended by over 3,000 grade school and middle school students exploring real-world engineering from various industries.

Team Caterpillar sponsored two competitions, Build Your Own Water Bottle Rocket and Wire Loop Contest. In addition, the team had a welding simulator on site and a popular interactive outdoor exhibit featuring a 420E Backhoe Loader, 926M Wheel Loader and 232D Skid Steer provided by local Cat Dealer Fabick.

To Build a Team that Builds a Better World, it starts with inspiring our future generations to explore STEM careers which lead to working on groundbreaking and world changing technologies, machines and services. Here at Caterpillar, your work matters.
