The 34th edition of bauma, the world’s leading trade fair for construction machinery, is quickly approaching and will take place in Munich from 7th to 13th April.
With its first full sized show post-pandemic, bauma is expecting to bring over 600,000 visitors and 4000+ organisers from more than 58 countries. The show is the largest international industry meeting place, attracting 1,400 journalists and media representatives from 47 countries.
This year’s edition will revolve around the five key topics of climate neutrality, alternative drive concepts, networked construction, sustainable construction, and the mining challenge. In addition to offering trade visitors and international market leaders the chance to meet, do business and access all markets and target groups, bauma has a large and diverse supporting programme. The 2025 show features the bauma LAB0 innovation hall, bauma FORUM, the Start-up Area, the Science Hub, Machines in Construction 4.0 and more.

CECE Press Conference: The CECE Press Conference will welcome trade experts, industry representatives and international journalists tackling the latest trends and challenges for the construction sector. The eagerly anticipated CECE Annual Economic Report will be released during the conference. Moreover, the updated CECE Market Surveillance brochures will also be released during the event. Joining as speakers will be CECE President Jose Antonio Nieto, CECE Economic Affairs Manager Sebastian Popp and CECE Vice-President Tim Burnhope tbc. Workshop on Data Act Implementation: Following the success of the Technical Forum at CECE Congress 2024, CECE is excited to announce a Workshop on Data Act Implementation, an informational session welcoming a presentation from Antonio Biason, Legal and Policy Officer in DG CNECT, European Commission and as well as from industry executives. The event will take place on 10th April, from 2-3pm CET, in Press Centre East. To register for the event, please complete the form here.

CECE Mining: Additionally, this year represents CECE Mining’s first bauma and CECE Mining will maintain an active presence during the show. CECE President José Antonio Nieto will take part in the panel discussion Mining challenge - security of supply of commodities, automation, ESG alongside CECE guest Joan Canton, Head of Unit, DG GROW, European Commission, MEP Hildegard Bentele, Ana Londoño Botero of Rio Tinto and a speaker at CECE Congress 2024, and Dr. Marcus Wirtz, Chairman VDMA Mining & Minerals. The discussion will take place on 8th April from 10:30-12:00.
