Centrally-mounted following harrow on Spirit

A new feature on the Spirit is the centrally-mounted following harrow that is pressed against the soil by its own weight.

"The new harrow is one of a number of improvements to the Spirit that enable this seed drill to create optimal conditions even in challenging circumstances. The working angle of the spring-mounted harrow is easily adjusted to attain the perfect pressure for the prevailing ground conditions and crop," explains Bernt Mårtensson, Concept Manager at Väderstad AB.

"The following harrow kit is available in two versions, either with a platform or with a platform and pre-emergence bout markers. The new platform offers easier access to the distributor head, tank and, if attached, BioDrill. The platform even improves safety when working on the seed drill," Bernt ends.
