Challenger launches CH9000 planter series at Agritechnica

Challenger is to introduce its planter range at Agritechnica 2013 with the launch of the new CH9000 Series. Challenger is a leading supplier of precision planters in Eastern Europe, and looks forward to introducing its advanced seeding technology into Western and Central Europe.

The new CH9000 Series row unit and seed meter design affirms Challenger planters’ reputation for accuracy and reliability and features options and attachments to fit any production system.

First to be unveiled in the new Challenger CH9000 Series is an all-new 12-row, narrow-transport row-crop model.

The all-new 12-row, three-section Challenger planter model CH9812-30 offers 70/76cm row spacing, the efficiency of a Central Fill System and toolbars which fold forward to give a 3.70m transport width.

With an enhanced seed meter design and a new cast-design row unit, the CH9000 Series delivers precise seed placement and machine longevity with minimal maintenance.

Available with a full range of options and attachments, the new planters may be configured to fit any production system, from conventional to no-till, and to plant crops ranging from maize to sunflowers.
