Chicago Pneumatic Recognizes Outstanding Achievement in Sales at Annual Meeting

ORLANDO, Florida (March, 2014) - Chicago Pneumatic held their annual sales meeting on February 9th, coinciding with The 2014 Rental Show in Orlando, Florida. During the meeting, CP honored individuals who have demonstrated outstanding achievement in sales and customer service.

Winners were selected based on their performance in 2013, and the six categories included Regional Sales Manager of the Year, Excellence in Customer Care, Portable Energy top sales, Handheld and Compaction top sales, Hydraulic Attachments top sales, and Distributor of the Year – Hydraulic Attachments.

“Our sales and service team gives Chicago Pneumatic a great name in the market, and we are excited to honor these individuals and the top selling distributor who have had an outstanding year,” said John Vogel, Executive Vice President of Chicago Pneumatic Construction Equipment. “All honorees are certainly deserving for consistently going above and beyond their job requirements, and we are incredibly proud of their work.”

Regional Sales Manager of the Year
Based out of Orange County, California, Derek Miller was awarded Regional Sales Manager of the Year for CP after increasing sales by 27 percent in his region. Miller, who has been a regional sales manager at CP for over three years, is responsible for increasing market-share and new business development in Hawaii, California, Arizona, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana and Alaska.  

Excellence in Customer Care
Rob Walsh, technical support supervisor of portable diesel generators at CP, earned the Excellence in Customer Care award for his service in 2013. Walsh started at CP in January of last year and has provided exceptional customer service in the Greater Atlanta Area over that time period.  

Portable Energy
The recognition of outstanding sales performance with the Portable Energy product line was awarded to Kyle Caldwell of Prime Power Equipment Sales, out of Frisco, Texas. Caldwell had over $1 million in sales in 2013.

Handheld & Compaction
Two awards were handed out for the 2013 top-seller of CP Handheld & Compaction lines. These two honorees were both from different divisions of Construction Product Sales (CPS)  – Tony Kannenberg, principal of CPS out of Broadview, Illinois and Dave Freehauf, vice president of CPS out of St. Paul, Minnesota. Freehauf has been with CPS for 13 years and Kannenberg, who was awarded last year for his outstanding sales performance with the hydraulic attachment line, has been with CPS for over 20 years.

Hydraulic Attachments
Randy Konnick, regional manager at Cardinal Sales in Vestal, New York, was honored for outstanding sales performance with the hydraulic attachment line. Konnick has been with Cardinal Sales for over 20 years.

Distributor of the Year – Hydraulic Attachments
CP honored Admar Supply as the Distributor of the Year for Hydraulic Attachments in recognition of their outstanding sales performance. Headquartered in Rochester, New York, Admar Supply opened their doors in 1972 and services Rochester, Albany, Binghamton, Buffalo, Canandaigua, and Syracuse, New York as well as Wilkes-Barre and Erie, Pennsylvania.
