Comansa JIE renames to Comansa CM

Tower crane manufacturer Comansa JIE, based in Hangzhou, China, has changed its name and from March 2015 is called Comansa CM. This rebranding, which has also affected the name of the company, is due to the amicable exit of one of its main stockholders, which now leaves the Linden Comansa group as sole owner of Comansa CM.

The change in the shareholding will barely affect the trajectory of the company, whose new name is "Comansa Construction Machinery (Hangzhou) Co., Ltd.". The sales and product strategy will remain as before and the staff and the management team will be exactly the same. A clear example of this continuity is the Comansa CM logo itself, which has undergone minimal changes in comparison with the previous.

A symbolic Opening Ceremony of Comansa CM took place at the Hangzhou factory on March 24th. The event was chaired by part of the management team from the Linden Comansa group in presence of most of the Comansa CM staff. The ceremony included the unveiling of the new logo and company name at the gates of the factory, followed by a Gala Dinner with some VIP guests.

Created in 2006 initially as a Joint Venture, Comansa CM currently offers a range of 11 tower cranes with Flat-Top design, and maximum load capacities from 6 to 24 tonnes. Comansa CM tower cranes are sold mainly in China, India and the South East Asia.
