COMER INDUSTRIES RECEIVED AGCO AWARD FOR COLLABORATION (INNOVATION)

The award from the global manufacturer of agricultural machinery was received from Comer Industries during a special Supplier Awards Dinner last October 28th in Duluth, GA, AGCO’s Corporate Headquarters, USA.

Comer Industries received the award for Collaboration (Innovation) from AGCO at a special Supplier Awards Dinner.

During the special evening, Comer Industries was one of only three direct component suppliers to be recognized with an award. Comer Industries has been actively winning new projects for Windrowers, Balers and Combines that will increase the company business with AGCO in the medium term. AGCO appreciates the support and innovative solutions provided by Comer Industries and recognized it as a top supplier.

The ceremony took place in Duluth, GA, USA and was attended by Bob Crain, AGCO Senior VP, Josip Tomasevic, AGCO VP Sourcing, and most of the AGCO Executive team. Mark Prehar, Global Commodity Manager, Transmissions, Gearboxes and Power Transmission, made the presentation and talked about the transition that has occurred in the company’ relationship over the past ten years. He expressed AGCO’s appreciation for the aggressive approach Comer Industries has taken to become a strong partner.

Receiving the award were Arlin Perry, President, Kirk Martin, Director of Sales Mobile Equipment, and Scott Moss, Manager Agri Sales of Comer Industries Inc. affiliate in North America. “This a major milestone for Comer Industries that will provide significant growth with one of the top three AG Equipment companies in the world. The award confirms Comer Industries’ ability to successfully operate in the global marketplace thanks to its engineering skills and innovative solutions.”, Arlin Perry said.
