Munich, September 09, 2012 - Benelux’s largest Logistics Trade Show in Utrecht, Netherlands, from November 13th – 16th, will host Crown´s public launch of the new WP 3000 Series of power pallet trucks with capacities to 2000 kg and a version which lifts to 750mm, together with the ES 4000 Pedestrian and ET 4000 Rider Stacker Series featuring over 24 different models. Crown will be presenting a partially-automated low-level order picking solution in the live demo area.
These new innovations follow the recent launches of Crown’s SC5300 three wheel counterbalanced trucks and the TSP 7000 Series of VNA trucks with lift heights of up to 17 metres.
Latest technology for maximum uptime
As with all Crown products, the new stackers and pallet trucks feature a robust design and the latest technology for maximum uptime. Reinforced steel covers, for example, protect internal components such as motors, hydraulics and electronics thereby reducing costly potential repairs. Both, the ES/ET stacker range and the WP 3000 pallet trucks come with Crown’s e-GEN® braking system which also reduces cost by virtually eliminating brake maintenance for the life of the truck. A standard on-board display identifies event codes without removing covers or the need for an external handset or notebook.
Operator Preferred Productivity
Operator appeal has been designed into the new Crown pallet trucks and stackers with unrivalled ease of control provided by Crown’s innovative X10® control handle. It combines all operator functions in one comfort-sculpted control pod featuring anti-static hand grips with integrated horn buttons for easy one-handed operation. A low-profile power unit and fork tip indicators allow precision positioning of the load for fast and safe handling of goods. Manoeuvrability on the pedestrian models is further improved by the smooth, rounded chassis and ramp-hold feature, simplifying operation in extremely tight spaces. The ES/ET stackers feature Crown’s highly refined proportional lift / lower system which allows operators to place loads with millimetre precision, while the fold-up FlexRide™ platform on the ET 4000 features shock-reducing suspension that allows operators to drive over uneven floors or dock boards without having to reduce speed thus enhancing productivity.
InfoLink® Vehicle Monitor - Live Demo
In addition to producing state-of-the-art lift trucks delivering top performance, Crown has developed an innovative system for fleet management. Crown’s unique, industry-leading InfoLink technology provides the next best thing to being everywhere at the same time: comprehensive, real time data on the entire fleet - worldwide. At Logistica you can experience a live demo of InfoLink and see for yourself how this powerful, centralised system organises, prioritises and delivers all relevant data to your fingertips. With a laptop or other mobile device, real time information is always accessible, enabling a manager to make informed decisions about more efficient fleet operation thereby reducing operating cost.
