CTE awarded in two categories at ITALPLATFORM - ITALIAN ACCESS PLATFORM AWARDS

The ITALPLATFORM jury awarded the CTE ZED 15.2 pick-up as "product of the year - a category of trucks up to 20 m" and the innovative S³ Smart Stability System in the   "Special categories”

Handy, versatile and high performer, these are the winning features of CTE ZED 15.2 on pick-up, the truck mounted platform that last night received the award as the “best aerial truck-mounted platforms up to 20 m”.

But the awards did not stop at a single category. CTE's commitment to propose to the market innovative products, but paying particular attention to the safety of operators, was the company's award for the Italplatform Award for Technology Innovation with the S³ Smart Stability System, the intelligent system for the working area control.

The event, at its first edition, took place on the eve of the opening of the GIS, the Italian Lifting Days, at the beautiful Hall of Tapestries of Collegio Alberoni in Piacenza.

At the Gala dinner attended CTE President Lorenzo Cipriani and the Commercial Director Marco Govoni. Mr. Cipriani commented on this success: "I'm really proud of this achievement! This award demonstrates that the way we are following on the definition and implementation of new models is the right way and I'm even more convinced by seeing the models that CTE exhibits at our stand at the GIS event! "

Products focus:

CTE ZED 15.2 on pick-up reaches 14,7 m of working height, 6,3 m of outreach and 230 kg of capacity (2 operators with working instruments), with reduced stabilization footprint (H+H  max 2.755 mm) and total weight 3 tons. These performances make it the best in its class of platforms mounted on pick-up.

Mounted on Isuzu D-MAX 4x4 or on Toyota Hylux 4x4 pick-up, this platform is the perfect ally for the operators which should drive on rough terrain to arrive at the construction site, and is also designed to work in slope.

Its dimensions allow to be compact in travelling position, so it is ideal for narrow streets and confined spaces.

S³ Smart Stability System studied for truck-mounted platforms CTE ZED (articulated) and CTE B-LIFT (telescopic). A system that adapts in real time to the conditions of use, basket load and geometry, automatically, and allows the user of to taking advantage of the full potential of each type of platform, irrespective of the vehicle characteristics on which it is mounted or the geometry of its superstructure.  

The S³ system, first of all, reduces development and testing time, provides highly repeatable performances under equal environmental conditions, stabilizers position, placement conditions  and loading, offering  a user-friendly and intuitive operating mode for the user.

The operator is able to check the total amount of residual performance on the display without having to  preselect the load curve, unlike what is normally done with machines equipped with a geometrical limiting device.
