CTE SpA is one of the main European players in the lifting and handling of materials and people. A reality that since 1981 has created solutions to make working at height even easier and safer, born from the initiative of 5 partners, who saw in the first aerial work machines in use in other countries an opportunity to give life to a new business opportunity in Italy.

The history of CTE is an exciting mix of vision, passion and expertise that has put innovation at the center, not only of the product, but also of organization, specifically how to experience the company and its dynamics. It is no coincidence that CTE was the first manufacturer to achieve the Family Audit certification which takes into account the needs of reconciliation between professional and private life, as well as being the first in Italy to undertake a path - celebrating 20 years just this year. - in total synergy with IPAF (International Powered Access Federation) for the diffusion of a culture of safety in the workplace.Lorenzo Cipriani, Roberto Dall'Oca, Marco Govoni, David Di Michele, Giampaolo Piovan

THE PROJECT

For CTE SpA, acting in an ethical and responsible way, aware that our activities and choices have an impact on the environment, the people, and the society in which we operate, is an essential mission.

Starting from these concepts, in the development and supply of its products and services, for a number of years CTE SpA has been committed to making its contribution to the protection of the environment and to respond to the contingent needs of the market for aerial platforms capable of carrying out activities for urban maintenance by reducing polluting gas emissions and noise pollution. A vision that has been strengthened with the creation of an internal company project called GREEN INNOVATION which includes all corporate activities related to the area of sustainability.

WORK AT HEIGHT BECOMES SUSTAINABLE

The need to respect the environment around us is influencing our way of living and working, from built-up areas to construction sites, from city squares to interior spaces. Traffic restrictions, with pollution and noise emissions restrictions, are leading to an increasingly urgent adaptation of work tools and equipment, and aerial platforms for work at height are also part of this change.

Public bodies, municipal companies, green maintenance, and large rental companies will be the first to experiment with sustainable solutions such as the use of full electric vehicles to interface with operations in residential areas or construction sites with special requirements, or even for nighttime jobs.

With this goal, CTE SpA launched, exactly one year ago, the project of the first fully electric truck-mounted platform with 20 m of working height: the most requested height range, such as public lighting, restoration, illuminations, greenery, and also for indoor spaces such as large shopping centers or airports.

The project was born from the partnership that CTE SpA entered with Green-G Electric Vehicles of Gorizia, manufacturer of electric vehicles, for the exclusive supply of the zero-emission commercial vehicle ecarry.Lo staff Customer Care CTE SpA

CTE SpA Sales & Marketing Director Marco Govoni declares: “This agreement is the natural consequence of our green vision of the future. We chose "ecarry" and Green-G - Electric Vehicles because it is a vehicle entirely designed and manufactured in Italy and we believe in the value of Italian excellence ".

Adds Antonio Chiello, Managing Director of Green-G - Electric Vehicles: “With its 1598mm wide, 5200mm long and 1965mm high, and a total ground mass of 3500kg, the ecarry is the most advanced vehicle of its category, with performances clearly above the standard. It is a light truck designed specifically for service companies, public bodies, and carriers. Companies that effectively operate in Italian metropolises and cities and carry out activities with repetitive, constant itineraries and with numerous start & stop, such as urban hygiene, city logistics and last-mile deliveries, even in the LTZ”.

A green and silent revolution, by CTE, opening up new business opportunities in the aerial platform sector.
