Conversion sprockets allow users to fit Ditch Witch chain and teeth to more than 70 non-Ditch Witch equipment models
Ditch Witch®, a Charles Machine Works Company, is helping underground construction professionals bring the proven performance of Ditch Witch digging systems to non-Ditch Witch trencher equipment through a new promotion. The company is offering its conversion sprockets for free to customers that purchase Ditch Witch chain and teeth for first-time equipment conversions.
Ditch Witch conversion sprockets enable underground construction professionals to fit Ditch Witch chain and teeth to more than 70 trencher models from Barreto®, Bobcat® Vermeer®, Toro® and other manufacturers. The sprockets mount on a variety of trencher models while maintaining a tooth spacing that matches Ditch Witch chains.
“Our conversion sprockets allow access to an extensive line of proven digging systems with a variety of styles, depths, widths, cutting teeth and other options to meet almost any job condition around the world,” said Steve Seabolt, product manager of service parts for the Ditch Witch organization. “Companies taking advantage of this promotion could realize hundreds of dollars in up-front savings. Additionally, the improved digging system performance and longer product life achieved through a single conversion could generate thousands of dollars in additional revenue over the life of the digging system.”
Ditch Witch conversion sprockets, chains and teeth are made from high-grade steel and are put through a selective heat-treating process for better wear resistance and shock load absorption. The components fit and perform to OEM specifications even when installed on other manufacturers’ equipment.
Conversion charts specifying the different manufacturers’ models that can be fitted with the conversion sprockets are available in the Ditch Witch Digging Systems Parts Catalog.
