The next DLG Feldtage, Germany’s leading field exhibition for crops, will take place from 16 to 18 June 2026 at the International DLG Crop Production Centre in Bernburg, located some 40 kilometers north of Leipzig. Forward-looking innovations and strategies will once again take center stage at the leading venue for crop cultivation professionals from Germany and abroad. Innovations and current topics spanning crop cultivation, breeding, crop protection and agricultural technology will be presented in the trial plots and demonstration areas. Under the FarmRobotix brand, the DLG (German Agricultural Society) and its partners will once again be presenting new developments in automation, digitalization and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in crop production. Other information and event formats such as the Value Chain Day and the DLG CropNight will complement the technical program. Stand bookings start May 2025.
The three-day DLG Feldtage event is not only a source of inspiration for crop production professionals but also a renowned professional platform for strategies and innovations in efficient and sustainable crop production. The exhibition program covers crop production, crop breeding, crop protection, fertilizer management and agricultural technology as well as consultancy and services that are tailored to the visitors of the DLG Feldtage.
Following last year's successful premiere of Farmrobotix, the DLG will once again present the latest developments in robotics, automation and AI in crop production in the dedicated FarmRobotix exhibition area at the DLG Feldtage 2026. The Value Chain Day, which explores current topics in the entire value chain, is now an integral part of the extensive technical program. For one full day, the entire value chain - from agriculture to the processing industry and trade - will gather for knowledge exchange and networking. Visitors can also look forward to the second edition of the DLG CropNight, the outdoor networking platform launched at the last event. A number of speaker platforms and pop-up talks will offer ample opportunity to exchange information. The Live Arena, which celebrated its premiere at the last DLG Feldtage, will once again play host to machinery demonstrations with live commentary. The machinery demonstrations are believed to be the largest in Europe.
For the fourth time at the Bernburg site
“The last time the DLG Feldtage event was hosted at the International DLG Crop Production Centre in Bernburg was in 2018. With its trial and demonstration areas as well as the appropriate infrastructure, the venue offers ideal conditions for an international, open-air event. This has been impressively demonstrated by the last three events at this location. We are delighted to be returning for the fourth time,” says Andreas Steul, Project Manager of DLG Feldtage.
“Tomorrow's crop production must adapt to many challenges. These include climate change, ensuring the sustainable use of resources such as water and soil, the development of resistant crop varieties and crop protection requirements. The exhibitors at the DLG Feldtage in 2026 will once again present a wide range of solutions,” adds Steul.
A 600 hectare farm, DLG International Crop Production Center was established in 2010. The center conducts crop trials, including 12-year crop rotations, irrigation and machinery trials. The center was founded in response to the decline of application-oriented and practical research
in Germany's agronomic sector. The transfer of research results to agricultural practice often did not occur in a systematic manner. With the DLG International Crop Production Center, DLG aims to counteract this trend. One key objective of the DLG since it was founded in 1885 has been to further practical farm management knowledge, including crop production techniques and crop varities. Both the International Crop Production Centre and the DLG Feldtage event is an example of DLG’s work.
