Doosan Infracore participates in an exhibition with suppliers

    - Operated an exhibition booth in collaboration with six suppliers and supported the exhibition cost at the Korea Machinery Fair 2011
    - Implemented Doosan’s philosophy of shared growth by establishing a partnership system ensuring a virtuous cycle

From September 28 to October 1, together with six suppliers, Doosan Infracore (President and CEO: Yong Sung Kim) participated at the ‘Korea Machinery Fair 2011’ (KOMAF) held in the 2nd exhibition hall in KINTEX in Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do.

Doosan’s booth had the space for Doosan at the center and the six suppliers’ exhibition space located on both sides so that visitors could see Doosan’s and its suppliers products at a glance. Doosan provided all of the costs needed for the six suppliers to install their booths in the exhibition hall, including the spaces and interior decorations.

It is a unusual case for a company to participate in this exhibition together with its suppliers, and Doosan Infracore was the only company that had installed a booth together with its suppliers. Doosan’s joint participation is part of establishing a partnership system that forms a virtuous cycle, which is Doosan’s philosophy of shared growth. The main concept of the exhibition was ‘Growth Way’, which means to seek infinite shared growth and Doosan’s and its suppliers’ booths were designed to be connected in the form of the Mobius strip.

In May, Doosan Infracore also invited three suppliers to display their products at the Doosan International Machine Tools Fair’ (DIMF) held in the Changwon plant in Gyeongnam. It provided an opportunity to promote the suppliers’ technologies and products to about 3,300 local and foreign dealers and customers.

At the KOMAF, Doosan Infracore installs a booth of 1,080㎡ in size. It showcases a total of eleven machine tools, which include large-scaled, high-end, and economic products that suit the recent market trends, including six new models.

KOMAF 2011 is an international trade exhibition exclusively for machinery and is intended to create demand, increase exports, identify new orders, introduce high-end technology, and improve the international competitiveness of the Korea’s machine industry. It is hosted by the Ministry of Knowledge Economy and organized by the Korea Association of Machinery Industry. Around 750 companies from 30 countries are expected to participate. About 150,000 local buyers and 5,000 foreign buyers also present their products.
