Doosan Yonkang Foundation Hosts the 9th Science Teacher’s Study Tour

Doosan Yonkang Foundation (Chairman Y.H. Park) is hosting the 9th Science Teacher’s Study Tour for science teachers in elementary, middle and high schools in Korea from January 19 to 25. 

This year’s tour is being attended by 39 laureates of the Science Teacher of the Year Awards, hosted by the Ministry of Science, ICT & Future Planning and organized by Korea Foundation for the Advancement of Science and Creativity. 

The 7-day, 6-night tour offers visits to industrial sites, including Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction in Changwon, Korea, as well as science, technology and educational facilities, including Osaka Science Museum and Kozu High School in Japan. 

Since 2007, Doosan Yonkang Foundation has offered overseas tours to overseas academic facilities for teachers selected as Science Teachers of the Year, with 342 teachers participating in the program so far.
