McConnel has won two major awards at Ireland’s prestigious FTMTA Farm Machinery Show.
The innovative new Telescopic-Variable Forward Reach armset and heavy-duty F14 T-flail each received New Product Awards in recognition of the breakthroughs in performance and efficiency they have delivered within the green maintenance sector.
The F14 T-flails also won praise for its versatility in enabling the effective cutting of everything from mature hedgerows to wet grass, while the Telescopic- VFR arm was recognised for the enhancements it delivers in comfort, precision and safety.
McConnel export manager Edward Hall said: “We were delighted to win the awards because it sends out a message to both customers and competitors that McConnel will never rest on its laurels and is always looking at ways to strengthen the performance and productivity of its machines.”
The FTMTA event proved extremely popular with Irish farmers and contractors, with thousands flocking to the show at Punchestown, near Dublin, to check out the latest innovations in agricultural engineering.
McConnel’s presence at the event was organised by the company’s Irish distribution partner Kverneland Ireland, which drew big crowds with an eye-catching display of machinery that included:
