Dr.-Ing. Markus Deimel is New Managing Director

Dr.-Ing. Markus Deimel has been appointed new CEO of Vollert Anlagenbau GmbH, effective July 2015. He will gradually take over the role from the current CEO Gerhard Geist who will begin his retirement at the end of next year after over 35 years at Vollert. Dr. Deimel comes from the building materials plant manufacturer Grenzebach BSH, where his last position was head of the engineering department. "As a technology leader, and the first point of contact for intralogistics systems for metals and heavy loads and plant engineering concepts for the precast concrete industry, we claim to be innovative and creative - the key for this is located in our engineering division. Here we will focus on these branches with changing technology in the years to come, and will lead our customers to the forefront of their markets", explains Dr. Deimel. The newly appointed CEO will manage the business activities during the transitional period until the end of 2016 in conjunction with Hans-Jörg Vollert and Gerhard Geist.
